PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit shadowrocketpeizhi.com. It applies to this site's documentation and page interactions, and does not replace the privacy information shown in the app or on the App Store.

1. Scope and Data Collection

This is a static content site. It has no registration, sign-in, or email subscription forms, and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, payment details, or Apple Account information. You can read the guides without submitting personal information to this site.

When you visit a page, the hosting service receives technical information needed to fulfill the request, such as your IP address, request path, access time, browser information, and response status. This information may be recorded in operational logs for content delivery, troubleshooting, and security maintenance. How it is stored and for how long depends on the hosting configuration; this policy does not promise a fixed retention period that has not been verified.

This site does not receive subscription links, server credentials, or configuration files that you already have. Do not place information containing passwords, tokens, or complete connection details in URL parameters for this site. When troubleshooting, redact sensitive fields first.

2. Traffic Analytics and How We Use Them

This site uses traffic analytics to understand page views, referral sources, device and browser categories, and clicks on the App Store button on the app page. Analytics help us assess whether content is easy to find, improve mobile readability, and identify unusual traffic. They are not used to receive or analyze users' proxy traffic.

When you click an App Store link on the app page, the site records a store redirect event. This records a click only; it does not indicate that you made a purchase, completed installation, or established a connection. The site cannot use this event to access Apple's order or payment results.

Browser privacy settings or content blockers may limit analytics requests. Analytics may be incomplete or inaccurate; they are not a reliable basis for determining the behavior of an individual visitor or proving actual app usage.

3. Cookies and Browser Storage

You can use page navigation, table-of-contents links, and native expandable Q&A without creating a site account. Whether analytics write cookies, and how long identifiers remain valid, depends on the analytics configuration at deployment. A static site does not necessarily mean that no browser storage is used.

Your browser may cache fonts, images, stylesheets, and scripts to avoid loading them again. Cookies, local storage, and browser cache are separate mechanisms; clearing one may not clear the others. You can view, restrict, or delete this site's data in your browser's site settings. Restrictions may require resources to reload and may make analytics incomplete.

Clearing browsing data for this site does not delete App Store purchase records or replace data management actions in the Shadowrocket app.

4. App Store and App Data

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the App Store is the only place to get it: App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Account verification, purchases, payments, and related data handling after you follow the link are governed by the terms and privacy information provided by Apple. Check the App Store page for system requirements.

The site does not process payments or store proof of purchase. A one-time purchase of the app is not a subscription to a service. The site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions; it only explains how to configure subscription or server details you already have.

For VPN configuration permissions, connection records, and configuration data in the app, refer to the system authorization prompts and the app's own information. Website analytics are separate from in-app data collection and should not be taken as evidence of how the app handles data.

5. Policy Updates and Questions

If changes to data handling, analytics configuration, or site features affect this policy, we will update this page and revise the last-updated month at the top. The text published here is authoritative. Matters that require separate notice or consent will be handled as applicable.

For help with using the site, see the Getting Started guide and its troubleshooting notes. For purchase and restoration issues, see the installation guide. These pages provide information and are not channels for submitting personal data. Do not include account passwords, payment details, or subscription credentials.
