Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

1. Scope and How to Read These Terms

Shadowrocket Setup Guide is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. It provides guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing and installing it, configuring it, and troubleshooting. These terms apply to visits to this site, reading its content, and using its interactive features. App purchases and use are also subject to the applicable App Store terms and the terms shown in the app.

Read the relevant section before proceeding. Examples on this site explain configuration methods and do not guarantee results in any particular network environment. If you do not accept these terms, stop using the site. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

2. Purchases and Service Boundaries

Shadowrocket is a paid app for Apple platforms, primarily iPhone and iPad. It is available exclusively through the App Store. Before purchasing, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official app icon, and app ID 932747118. Check the App Store listing for pricing, compatible devices, system requirements, and general purchase availability.

A one-time app purchase does not include a network service subscription. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers or subscription services, or manage connection resources. Configuration instructions assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. You are responsible for confirming that those services are valid and that you are authorized to use them.

Purchases, payments, and restoring purchases are handled through the App Store. This site does not process transactions or refunds. For help verifying the listing or restoring a purchase, see Getting the App.

3. Lawful Use and Safeguarding Information

You must comply with the laws, network policies, and service terms that apply where you are and to your use. Do not use the app or this site’s instructions for unlawful purposes or infringe anyone’s privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights. Before connecting, make sure you are authorized to use the network, server, and configuration resources involved.

Keep subscription links, server passwords, and other access credentials secure. Do not disclose them on public pages or in feedback. Before changing rules, DNS, or connection settings, save your existing configuration and understand the potential effects. Get permission before making changes involving someone else’s device or network.

4. Guidance and Limitation of Liability

The app is sold on the App Store. The written guidance on this site does not replace App Store transaction terms, in-app notices, or system permission prompts. The app interface, App Store availability, and system behavior may change. If the instructions differ from what you see, check the current interface before proceeding rather than applying an example as-is.

To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for the continued availability of the site or app, connection results, configuration compatibility, or data loss during use. Network interruptions, server status, device settings, and user error may affect results. Back up important data and review your configuration before making changes.

These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or prevent users from asserting their legal rights against the relevant parties to a transaction.

5. Trademarks and Intellectual Property

Rights to the Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related brand assets belong to its developer or the respective rights holders. This site displays the official app icon and interface names to identify the product and explain its use. This does not grant visitors rights to use the trademark, app, or assets.

Original copy and page designs on this site are protected by applicable law. When quoting them, credit the source, preserve their meaning, and do not remove rights notices. Copying, adapting, or using them commercially beyond what the law permits requires prior permission from the relevant rights holder. Reading this manual does not grant rights to copy or distribute the app.

6. Changes and Feedback

These terms may be revised to reflect feature changes, content updates, or legal requirements. Revised terms and the updated month will be posted at the top of this page. Significant changes affecting users’ rights or obligations will be clearly highlighted. Their effective date will follow applicable law, and changes will not retroactively reduce rights already acquired by law.

For help with app operation, start with the Getting Started guide. For purchase and App Store questions, see the relevant section of the Installation Guide. When reporting an issue, share only the steps you took, the error message, and environment details with sensitive information removed. Contact App Store support about purchase or refund disputes.
